Celebrate School Being Back In Sessions With Deals From Naked News!

Yvan Daddario

My favorite part about going back to school was always the Back to School Shopping! I remember I would want to wear all my new sweaters and boots immediately even though it was still summer out. I would be sweating like a crazy person pretending it was already fall.

I’m actually thinking about taking another class soon so I may be a school girl again. Any excuse to go shopping 😉

I just watched the finale of Season 1 of DC Legends of Tomorrow. I have seen this at least one time before. I have been keeping up with it, and I think it’s possible I’ll buy the set one day. It is possible you get glimpses of what goes on with this show or its characters because of the people you work with. If I were to assume the most likely situation that you do not know them at all, then covering background of Hawkman and Hawkgirl, Atom, Heat Wave, Captain Cold, Rip Hunter and Sarah Lance would take a great deal more than my little talk here. Two more people are in the crew and they have something of a relationship, or condition depending on how you look at it, in that their lives are intertwined and inextricably linked for the foreseeable future. Rip Hunter has stolen a ship from his employers, who were supposed to be good guys keeping the course of life and time on the proper path, until they refused to respond to the murder of Hunter’s wife and child, and the connection of that crime with a worldwide tyranny by a man enchanted and perhaps immortal.
In the finale of season 1, the job for which the group was brought together appears to be completed and the now Captain Hunter is talking through how to break up the team. The time travel in which their work has involved them forced Hunter to take the team to a refuge whose location is hidden from the enemy. Hunter’s plan is to drop off these older versions of his team and return to the refuge to pick up the younger selves before all their heroism had been revealed and to return those younger versions of his team to their homes.
An attractive plan, except that if he did this, isn’t Hunter eliminating the work the team has accomplished and creating a paradox in which that tyrant is no longer contested at all?

I have found the point at which I ended my own viewing of Once Upon a Time. The episode I’m currently watching sees two of the several heroes, Emma Swan and Captain Hook, thrust back in time and into the magical land to which Hook belongs called Neverland. Once these two get their bearings and deduce where and when they are, Swan suggests this is the time of the initial meeting of her parents. At that point, they also make some inadvertent changes by being there and either delay or eliminate that initial meeting of true love. Before that small and epic error, a clear reference to Back to the Future is made when Captain Hook says, ‘So, any idea how to get back?’
Swan says, ‘How would I know how to get back to the future? Who do you think I am? Marty McFly?’
‘Who’s Marty McFly? Some sort of wizard?’
‘Maybe a wizard is exactly what we need.’
Exactly who the wizard is in this story would take a bit of explanation, but more direct references to Back to the Future are to be found there.

I don’t surf, in the traditional sense; but I did carefully watch today’s Flex Appeal, and I think I will need to watch that one a bunch of times in the near future.

What’s the word for surfing without a surf board? Swimming
